Itinerary

Day 01 (Airport- Kandy (Approx. 3.5 hours Drive)

Upon your arrival at the airport, you will receive a warm welcome from your chauffer guide at the arrival lounge before proceeding to Kandy.
Along the way, you will have the opportunity to visit the renowned Pinnawala Elephant Orphanage, which serves as a sanctuary and breeding site for orphaned and unweaned wild elephants. Established in 1975, it is home to the world's largest captive elephant herd, with over 80 elephants and numerous successful breeding programs.
Following your time at the orphanage, you will make a stop at the Spice Garden in Mawanella. This visit will provide you with insights into the diverse range of spices for which Sri Lanka is famous. Day 03 (Nuwara Eliya- Colombo (Approx. 5.5 Hours Drive)

After breakfast at the hotel, begin your day with a visit to the Sri Seetha Amman temple, a significant site from the Ramayana epic. According to the legend, this temple is where Sita, the wife of King Rama, was held captive by the evil king Ravana. Explore the nearby brook, believed to be where Sita washed, and the rock where she prayed. The rock face across the creek bears circular depressions said to be footprints of Ravana's elephant. Legend has it that Sita cursed a point in the stream, giving its water a terrible taste.
Next, visit the Gayathri Peedam, also known as the Gayathri Cathedral. It is the first temple dedicated to Goddess Gayathri and holds great spiritual significance.
